Arnold E. Franklin is associate professor of history at Queens College and director of the Queens College Center for Jewish Studies and the Jewish Studies Program. He is the author of This Noble House: Jewish Descendants of King David in the Medieval Islamic East and coeditor of Jews, Christians and Muslims in Medieval and Early Modern Times: A Festschrift in Honor of Mark R. Cohen.
