Working undercover, Alex Caine witnessed the buffering of the big clubs' US turfs in a Bandidos-mediated truce between the Outlaws and Angels in the 1980s. ALEX CAINE’s memoir, Befriend and Betray, was a #1 national bestseller in Canada. He is also the author of The Fat Mexican: The Bloody Rise of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club. Both books were finalists for the Crime Writers of Canada’s Arthur Ellis Award for Best Non-Fiction and have been published in several countries and languages. He now acts as an adviser on biker investigations, and speaks frequently at police conferences.
