Mary Luckhurst is a playwright, translator and Lecturer in Modern Drama at York University, U.K. She coedited On Directing, On Acting, Playing for Real: Actors Performing Real People, and Theatre and Celebrity in Britain 1660-2000. She is the author of Dramaturgy: A Revolution in Theatre.
