Brian Eule is the author of the nonfiction book Match Day (St. Martin's Press). He is a graduate of Stanford University and earned his MFA from Columbia University. He has worked as a journalist for several newspapers, and directs journalism grantmaking at the Heising-Simons Foundation, including leading the American Mosaic Journalism Prize. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Northern California.
