He has written widely on U.S. constitutional history and is the author of Greenwood's American Legal Culture, 1908-1940 as well as editor of the well-received Historic U.S. Court Cases: An Encyclopedia, Second Edition.

Robert P. Green, Jr., is alumni distinguished professor of education, educational foundations, at Clemson University's School of Education, Clemson, SC. His published works include Equal Protection and the African American Constitutional Experience: A Documentary History.
