He is the Garage Series Editor, and the author of four other programming books, including the acclaimed Java for ColdFusion Developers, and the forthcoming More Java Garage. He has been an invited speaker on Java at regional user groups.

Eben has a Master's Degree in Literary Theory, and had his first full-length, original play produced in New York City in 1996.
