Recipient of the NCRLL Distinguished Researcher Award, Karin Dahl is a professor at The Ohio State University, where she teaches in the language, literature, and culture section, and focuses on language arts and children's writing.

Patricia Scharer is an associate professor at The Ohio State University, where her research focuses on classroom use of children's literature and early literacy instruction.

An assistant professor at Wittenburg University, Lora Lawson teaches courses in literacy, arts integration, and early childhood education.

Patricia Grogan is an assistant professor at the University of Dayton, where she teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of reading, phonics, and intervention techniques.
