Synopsis
Roger, Duke of Lunel seeks atonement for past sins by undertaking the sacred commitment of an "armed pilgrimage". The dream of faith is soon overtaken by violence, betrayal, deceit and greed as the crusaders become more concerned with booty rather than the capture of the holy city of Jesulalem.
