Synopsis
As Jan Hardy begins to recover from the wounds of the past, the stage is set for a fine year, with a wedding on the horizon and the appearance of a mysterious Cherokee Indian owner, Bobby Montana, on the scene. Things are looking exciting, until a sudden death throws her world into turmoil . . .

Jenny Pitman, well known as the first woman of racing, has achieved success in the world's toughest races. In 1998 she was awarded the OBE for her services to horseracing. Since retiring from training in 1999, Jenny has written five novels featuring trainer Jan Hardy.
