The printing of a book so full as is this one of unfamiliar names and of diacritically-marked letters entails a heavy tax upon proof-readers and compositors. I Wish to express my sense of this, and to thank Messrs. Billing, their proof readers and their compositors for what they have done to accomplish a difficult and tiresome task.
