The book provides about 200 archetypal images with a precis of the nature of the molecule and the medical potential of the associated techniques, together with a reference to the primary literature. Finally, there are indices to the main listings and a list of commercial suppliers of antibodies. Colin Ockleford is an active Fellow of the Royal Microscopial Society and a consultant to a microscope manufacturer. He is the named inventor on two patents related to his work and winner of the 1983 Symington Prize of the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
