Synopsis
"Beyond Conception" is a feminist critique of the new reproductive and genetic technologies whose impact has been most apparent since the birth of the first "test-tube" baby. The author finds that these technologies are not created in women's interest. Instead, they require the subordination of women to science. Patricia Spallone is co-editor of "Made To Order - The Myth of Reproductive and Genetic Progress".
