Synopsis
Part of the "Formative Assessment in the National Curriculum" series of books which are designed to support and underpin statutory teacher assessment in infants and lower junior schools and to help teachers to apply National Curriculum assessment criteria to their own pupils' work. The assessment takes the form of a coherent reading activity based on a graduated story text, "Tasha and the Wolf". This is presented within the supportive context of an illustrated book which all children can engage with and enjoy. All three authors of this book are former members of the CATS team developing Standard Assessment Tasks for National Curriculum assessment at age 7.
