Although born in England, Alison Brodie s roots are Scottish and she grew up in Scotland. Her first career was as an artist, and she took up modelling to finance her art and foreign travel. Her successful career took her all over the world and she was even the official mascot of a regiment of the Lowland Gunners. She now lives and writes in Surrey
