Rachel Anderson temporarily housed a boy from a Children's Home who she wanted to adopt, but he hated her family and himself and only ended up staying a few months before he moved on. Like Mac in the story, he was dumped by his father, then his mother, and his grandmother wouldn't have anything to do with him.
