Pure Mathematics 4 continues the pure strand from the MEI Structured Mathematics series. This module is compulsory for Further Mathematics students. The book starts with a chapter on proofs, introducing readers to the extra level of rigour which is expected at this level. In the rest of the book some earlier ideas are extended (for example vector geometry, series, graphs and inequalities) and some important new topics are introduced (complex numbers, induction and matrices).
