This is the follow on text to Complete Technology and Design, published in 2001, which covered the Foundation tier material for GCSE specifications, especially that of the CCEA. Higher Technology and Design covers the four major areas from which Higher tier students choose their specialism. The book also covers product analysis, a basic unit for all AS level students embarking on Advanced D&T courses. Each topic starts with a practical example of a project giving some insight into the topic, and is well illustrated with clear and colourful diagrams. Questions are included at the end of each topic, and are structured to become progressively harder within the set of ten.
Biographie de l'auteur
Raymond Caldwell was until recently an advisory teacher for Technology and Design for the Southern Education and Library Board in Northern Ireland.
