À propos de l?auteur

Dr Margaret Kirkwood is Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Strathclyde. She began her career as a mathematics teacher and then became heavily involved in teacher education and national curriculum development in computing studies in secondary schools. She has extensive experience of teaching, curriculum development and research on the enhancement of pupils' thinking, understanding, problem solving and learning strategies through using an infusion approach. She successfully piloted an option module on Learning to Think and Thinking to Learn as part of the Chartered Teacher programme. She is a past-president of the Scottish Educational Research Association and Secretary General of the European Educational Research Association.
