Synopsis
When Bill Ward, the postman, spots a wild tabby cat in the village, he gets the stray checked out by Mr and Mrs Hope. When he realises she's pregnant, he offers her a temporary home. He's sympathetic to her plight as his own pedigree cat has just had kittens, and he doesn't expect anything in return for his help. But when his cat is injured in a road accident and left unable to care for her newborn kittens, the stray tabby provides invaluable help, taking the babies in with her own brood until their real mother is back on her feet...
