Synopsis
'Superficiality,' says author Richard Foster, 'is the curse of our age.' It is so easy to live on the surface of things. Shallow questions pepper our days: 'What's for lunch?' 'Where's my cell phone?' 'Who's in for dinner tonight?' As we grow older, the joys and sorrows of life take us deeper. What delight to discover that God also longs to take us beyond a surface relationship with himself to a deeper intimacy of knowing and being known.
