Pending the consideration of an applica tion for patent in the United States Patent Office, an invention may be manufactured and sold under the mark Patent applied for.
However, the publicity incident to such manufacture will subject the inventor to the danger of someone else surreptitiously claim ing the invention as his own and applying for a patent thereon. Should this happen, the inventor will be put to the expense of interference proceedings in the Patent Office to establish his rights.
