From an economic standpoint, this book analyzes potential abilities of soil-bank and corn-allotment programs to influence output, resource use, and individual farm incomes. The data also shows that typical livestock enterprises on cash-grain farms would not be impacted by the programs and that farmers who choose to comply with control programs could see a small increase in net income for cash-grain farms and only a small decrease in net income for livestock farms.
