À propos de l'auteur

Madeline M. Henderson is the recently retired manager of ADP Information Analysis, Institute for Computer Sciences and Technology, National Bureau of Standards. She is a member of advisory committees on library networking and copyright law, chairman of the Joint Board/Council Committee on Copyright of the American Chemical Society, and author of a bimonthly column on copyright for the Bulletin of the American Society for Information Science. She has published numerous articles on information science and technology and library automation. Marcia J. MacNaughton is a senior analyst at the Office of Technology Assessment, U.S. Congress, and has been a consultant to Congress on social impacts of computers and communication technology. She was staff director of the U.S. Senate Government Operations Subcommittee on Privacy and Information Systems and served on the staff of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitutional Rights. Her primary interests are public law and government and infor-mation technology.
