This is the second international conference on high temperature creep resistant materials, organised by the High Temperature Materials Committee of The Institute of Materials, to be held in York. Topics covered in this volume directly address the application and performance of bolting materials in high temperature plant. In such applications, bolts are often required to operate for long periods of time under high duty plant operational conditions. Performance and material reliability are, therefore, important factors in the selection of suitable alloys.
