Sandra Boehringer is Associate Professor of Greek History at the University of Strasbourg, France. She is the author of numerous articles on issues of gender and sexuality in the ancient world and the French translator of John Winkler and Maud Gleason. She has also co-edited several collective volumes, including Foucault, la sexualit�, l'Antiquit�, soon to be available in English from Routledge.
