Helen Cresswell has had a varied and successful career during which time she has worked as a literary assistant, a teacher, and has worked prolifically for BBC television. She is the popular author of many stories for children and adults and has been in print for 35 years! A prolific scriptwriter and adaptor, Helen won a Children's Bafta in 2000 for her writing for children's TV!
