RICHARD L. LIBOFF is Professor of Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics at Cornell University. Among his numerous publications are Introductory Quantum Mechanics; Transmission Lines, Wave Guides and Smith Charts (with G. C. Dalman); and Introduction to the Theory of Kinetic Equations.
