This volume gathers together 50 essays by one of the most influential literary, cultural and intellectual voices of our time. Yet here also is Miller in meditative and even playful mood, evoking the subtle pleasures of gardening, or remembering the Brooklyn full of characters and practical jokers where he grew up, or wryly recounting the Mafia kidnap experience that never was.

À propos de l?auteur
Arthur Miller was born in New York City in 1915. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1938, he found fame in theatre and film from 1947. He has received numerous awards and honour for his work as a writer and humanitarian.
