Barbara McPake is Director and Professor at the Institute for International Health and Development at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, UK Charles Normand is Edward Kennedy Professor of Health Policy and Management at the University of Dublin, Trinity College, Ireland. Samantha Smith is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Health Research and Information Division. She has a PhD in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin.
