Susan Eva Eckstein is Professor of Sociology at Boston University and is associated with the Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University. She is the editor of the best-selling Power and Popular Protest: LatinAmerican Social Movements.Timothy P. Wickham-Crowley is Associate Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University and the author of Guerrillas and Revolution in LatinAmerica.
