Synopsis
The new edition contains a new chapter on Adoption to reflect the proposed changes in 2004 by the Adoption and Children Act 2002. It incorporates the changes to be made to the acquisition of parental responsibility by the same Act. Also included is the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 which covers major changes to the child support system. The chapter on financial relief on divorce has been substantially rewritten to reflect the impact of the House of Lords decision in White v White and the new ancillary relief procedure. Important case law has been updated to November 2003.
