Synopsis

Aimed at young teenagers at beginner or false beginner level, this ELT course encourages students to deal with topics which are relevant to their interests and to say what they want about them. It consists of student's books, activity books, teacher's books, activity cassettes and class cassette packs. The student's books provide activities which require students to examine their individual learning styles, develop strategies to become more effective learners, and assess their own progress. The teacher's books encourage teachers to evaluate their own role and think about how they can support their students. The activity books can be used for self-study (there are photocopiable tapescripts and keys in the teacher's books), enabling students to concentrate on areas which they have identified as requiring practice.
