The activities cover the appropriate range of word, sentence and text level skills and each photocopiable page includes a note to the parent/helper about the purpose of the activity and how to help the child if he/she gets stuck. David Waugh is a lecturer in Primary English at the School of Education at Hull University. He is joint author of '100 Literacy Hours: YR-Y2' and also author of several 'Curriculum Bank' and 'Further Curriculum Bank' books. Wendy Jolliffe is a Curriculum Support Teacher, principally for literacy, with a large number of primary schools in the Kingston-upon-Hull Educational Authority. She is joint author of '100 Literacy Hours: YR-Y2', and 'Further Curriculum Bank Writing KS1'. Kathleen Taylor is an experienced primary teacher who is now a lecturer in Primary English a Bishop Grosseteste College in Lincoln. She is joint author of '100 Literacy Hours: YR-Y2'.
