This pseudonym used by the author was a recurring fictitious character created by Kurt Vonnegut and was present in many of his novels. This novel is the result of an expanded excerpt from chapter 9 of Vonnegut's novel "God Bless You Mr. Rosewater" from 1965. The story of Earth's destruction by cosmic bureaucrats doing routine maintenance and the sole survivor on a quest to find the "Definitive Answer To The Ultimate Question".
