Dr. Sudisha Jogaiah, is the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Environmental Science at the Central University of Kerala. Dr. Jogaiah is one of the leading scientists in dissecting the molecular mechanisms of rhizosphere fungi mediated Induce systemic resistance (ISR) underlying SA/JA/ET cross talk and its consequent effect on commercial biocontrol strategies in India. He is the Fellow of The National Academy of Sciences (FNASc.), Fellow of The National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (FNAAS.), Fellow of National Academy of Biological Sciences (FNABS), His research emphasizes plant-microbe interactions and eco-friendly crop protection, contributing to advances in sustainable agricultural practices. The vision of Dr. Jogaiah research offers a fresh perspective to agriculture, horticulture, and agro-ecosystems from "Laboratory to Land" and is designed to educate and train the farmers for implementation of sustainable crop production. Dr. Jogaiah has played active roles in both national and international academic circles and has an extensive record of scholarly publications and contributions to authored books and edited volumes. His work supports a deeper understanding of environmental science and its practical applications in sustainable agriculture.



Dr. Boregowda Nandini, Assistant Professor, DOS in Biotechnology, Post Graduate Wing of SBRR First Grade College (Autonomous), Mysore. The author is expertise in plant pathology, nanotechnology, mycology, host-pathogen interactions and biopesticides. Awarded with National Post-Doctoral Fellowship for best research aptitude and publications. Published papers more than 25 research articles, two review articles and six book chapters. Deposited 124 fungal gene sequences to NCBI databases. Received best posters, DST-AWASAR award and INSc research excellence award. Well proficient with most of the biotechnological, seed technology and nanotechnology aspects.



Dr Savitha De Britto, Executive Dean, School of Science and Technology at the University of Goroka (UOG), Papua New Guinea. Her interest lies in plant pathology and microbiology, particularly identifying the fungal diseases in food crops and the antagonistic effects of naturally occurring fungi such as Trichoderma as a biocontrol agent in combating fungal infections in plants. She has participated in many science education surveys as she has worked in a teacher education institution, including more recently with a collaborative research project in STEM education concept with Queensland University of Technology, Australia. In addition, another joint research project with Yamaguchi University, Japan, in plant biotechnology and plant pathology areas. She has published more than 25 research articles in international and national journals. She holds a shared patentship for a novel methodology in developing selenium nanoparticles. She has been a peer reviewer for many international journals, such as PMPP, Analytical Biochemistry, Plos One, Plant Disease and many others.
