Dr. Kumar holds the position of Formulation Scientist and Deputy Manager in Research and Development, Cadila Pharmaceutical Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He completed his doctoral degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi-221005, India. He possesses 6 years of academic research experience. His specialization is Pharmaceutics, working on various drug delivery systems including controlled drug delivery systems, nanoemulsions, polymeric nanoparticles, lipid nanoparticles, nanocrystals, nanofibrous scaffolds, hydrogels, and microneedles for treating cancer, wounds, infections, and inflammatory disorders. To date, he has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and about 25 book chapters in well-known international journals. He has 4 patents in his name and edited 2 books. He is working continuously to drive forward cutting-edge research in nanomedicine and drug delivery technologies.
Dr. Jha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Pune, Maharashtra, India. He has more than 8 years of professional experience in academic research, specializing in advanced drug delivery systems, cancer nanomedicine, and 3-D bioprinting. Holding a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, his work focuses on developing targeted therapeutic interventions for cancer, inflammatory lung disorders, and chronic wounds. His research on modern therapeutics leverages deep expertise in extracellular vesicles, nanofibers, polymer chemistry, and microneedle technology. So far, he has contributed to 3 patents, more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and 25 book chapters published in reputed international journals, and edited 2 books. As an academician, he views education as the art of assisting discovery; empowering students to harness their curiosity, transforming foundational concepts into tangible scientific impact.
Dr. Mishra is a Professor and former Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University). Having earned his B. Pharm, M. Pharm as a Gold Medalist, and Ph.D. from the same institution, he has dedicated over 42 years to advancing pharmaceutical sciences. Throughout his career, Prof. Mishra has established a profound commitment to academic guidance, mentoring over 100 postgraduates, doctoral, and post-doctorate candidates. His research focuses on multiple emulsions, nanomedicine, targeted and rate-controlled drug delivery systems, pharmacokinetics, and bioavailability. This work has yielded over 300 publications, 220 abstracts, 50 book chapters, and 5 patents. With more than 14,000 citations and an h-index exceeding 60, his scholarly impact places him in the top 5% of global researchers as per SciRank Global Database. Beyond his research, Prof. Mishra’s institutional leadership, policy contributions, and enduring dedication to his students continue to anchor and advance pharmaceutical education worldwide.He is a leading researcher in drug delivery. He has received numerous awards, including the Best Young Pharmacy Teacher Award and the Pharmacy Excellence Award. Additionally, he has served on editorial boards, traveled internationally for talks, and participated in various academic committees and programs.
