Raised on a diet of Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen in England, Janet Mullany has worked as an archaeologist, classical music radio announcer, performing arts administrator, bookseller, and as proofreader and editor for a small press. Her first book, the original Dedication (2005), was the only Signet Regency with two bondage scenes. She also writes books that do terrible things to Jane Austen, Regency chicklit, and contemporary erotic romance. She lives near Washington, DC where she drinks a lot of tea and gives etiquette lessons to a cat. Two decades ago their love was a revolutionary act. But the revolution failed. Adam and Fabienne loved and lost. Now Adam is a respectable country gentleman and Fabienne is a powerful patroness of the arts and they have little in common ... or do they? As their lives become entangled again, dark secrets and betrayals from the past are revealed, threatening them and others they love. This is a rewritten version of the 2005 Signet Regency edition. ... a solid romance, well-written and featuring unique characters. Dear Author It’s beautifully written, utterly surprising and — hurrah! — very sexy. I loved it! Eloisa James (2005 original)
