Book by Menendez Senator Bob

From the highest-ranking Hispanic in congressional history comes an inspiring vision for our country's future.
For Senator Bob Menendez, it's about time the truth about Hispanics and their potential in this nation is brought into the spotlight. Instead of viewing Latinos as the cause of many of America's problems, he sees quite the opposite-and in this book he takes a unique approach by imagining a hopeful future for our nation. With the step-by-step plan that Menendez has devised, the United States' future will be made brighter and more successful precisely because of, not in spite of, the burgeoning influence of the Hispanic population as it "grows its American roots."

Hardcover. Etat : Near Fine. Etat de la jaquette : Near Fine. 1st Edition. First Edition (Number Line to 1). A fairly rare signed copy. I found only two others for sale on the Internet. The signed inscription is on the blank first front end paper. It reads 'To Roy-- Hope you enjoy the book-- All the best-- Bob Menendez, USS. N.J.' Both the book and the dust jacket are in exceptional condition. I'm rating them Near Fine because that's typically the highest rating I give a book, but Fine or As New would be just as appropriate. You can see the covers of the book in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. The corners and edges are free of any wear. The page edges are perfectly clean. The worst that can be said about the condition of the covers is that there is a little crinkling at and around the spine ends. The book is square and very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The pages look immaculate. I scrolled through them several times without finding any instances of soiling. That applies as well to the white inside covers and end papers. The pages are also in exceptional condition. I'm not seeing any creasing of any kind. There are no markings. No attachments. And with the exception of the author's signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The dust jacket is also exceptionally clean. I don't see any soiling. There are no tears. I really don't see any wear of any kind. The white flaps are perfectly clean. There are no creases. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. I've had it in a fitted protective cover for as long as I've owned the book which goes back a number of years. Off the bottom edge of the front of the dust jacket there is a blurb from former president Bill Clinton: 'Bob Menendez's insights into the Hispanic community are priceless.' This book is not 'priceless' but it surely ain't expensive. Inscribed by Author(s). N° de réf. du vendeur 003446
