Of Caribbean descent (he's the nephew of Bob Marley), Charles grew up in Brooklyn, worked as an actor in Los Angeles, and settled in Tampa to be near his family. He also has his own radio program on Blog Talk Radio, and his signature spice blend is sold in selected stores in the Southeast.
