Corporations are placing a greater emphasis on converting credit sales into bank deposits, particularly as accounts receivable often represent a company's most important asset. Yet conventional collection techniques have not kept pace with changing times and credit executives and financial managers continue to follow antiquated policies. This text aims to show companies how to redefine their credit collection techniques. It examines the legal implications of credit collection, provides sample forms and letters and offers methods to help improve the recovery of accounts by at least 10 per cent.

Praise for Collection Management Handbook
"I continue to marvel at how Collection Management Handbook: The Art of Getting Paid is still the single most valuable book in my library. Not only does this book answer every collections question possible, it is my constant source of inspiration. When I feel I need to be motivated, I only have to scan through this book. I highly recommend it, even to the most seasoned accounts receivables associates."
