ECKART W. SCHMIDT, PhD, is a consultant in hazardous materials handling and disposal. Dr. Schmidt is the principal author of Raketentreibstoffe (Rocket Propellants) as well as numerous scientific papers and technical reports. He is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
