FLOYD M. GARDNER, PhD, is Principal, Gardner Research Company, a consulting firm in electronics and communications. Dr. Gardner is a Fellow of the IEEE, author of Phaselock Techniques, Second Edition, and coauthor of Simulation Techniques: Models of Communication Signals and Processes and its companion software The STÆDT Program, all published by Wiley.
