Synopsis

There are also more exercises, and greater use of infrared and NMR spectra. The authors focus on the experimental aspects of organic chemistry, rather than the theoretical issues. Modern purification and separation techniques used include gas chromatography, thin-layer chromatography, and column chromatography.
