Written by leading authorities in their respective fields, this work presents review articles on in situ or quasi-in situ techniques for the characterization of electrodes and electrochemical processes - appropriate for surface or bulk phase analysis. The book is divided into two sections, covering in situ monitoring and characterization of structure and compositions of electrodes, electrolytes, and products during electrolysis in Part A, and electrochemical techniques and theoretical-modelling tools in Part B.
