Robert E. Berlin is Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan College and a consultant to industry in radioactive waste management and the remediation of radiologically contaminated sites. He has worked on a number of operating and inactive radioactive waste disposal facilities. He is a member of the American Nuclear Society. Dr. Berlin earned his DPH in public health and environmental science at Columbia University. Catherine C. Stanton is President of Catherine C. Stanton & Associates, Inc., nuclear technology consultants, and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan College. She is a member of the American Nuclear Society and the Health Physics Society. Mrs. Stanton earned her MS in nuclear engineering at Ohio State University.
