The Inuit of Greenland are a traditional people whose way of life and culture are under threat both from external pressures of "development" and internal challenges to social cohesion. This study, based on extensive field research, examines their culture and responses to change. The publication of the study is published to coincide with Radio 4's "Arctic Festival" in spring 1992.
