Synopsis

This extensive archive featuring offensive and defensive weapons of battle includes a vast array of armor and other ancient, protective devices. Artists, illustrators, and craftworkers can draw on the collection for detailed depictions of chain mail, swords, halberds, spears, pikes, lances, crossbows, axes, daggers, helmets, shields, and a host of other implements of battle. The set contains a CD-ROM containing 366 high-quality, permission-free images scanned at 600 dpi and saved in six different formats (TIFF, PICT, EPS, BMP, as well as Internet-ready JPEG and GIF) and a large-format, 64-page book with every image on the CD-ROM printed large and clearly and numbered for easy reference.
Suitable for projects requiring a medieval or old-fashioned flavor, these drawings reproduce extremely well and will fill a host of needs for battle-related art.
