Synopsis

Styles, Schools and Movements offers for the first time a clear and lively guide to the movements in modern art. Amy Dempsey studied under Rosalind Krauss in New York, and received her PhD (on the art of France and the USA, 1961-65) from the Courtauld Institute of Art. Most recently, she has worked for Tate Modern.
