Blue cloth hardcover with the Publishers fish logo stamped in silver on the front cover and silver printing on the spine. 347 duotone plates of pgotographs by Man Ray, along with three texts and an introduction by Jean-Hubert Martin. Iconic artist of the Dada movement, Man Ray began photography originally as a way to record his paintings, and it became an art form for him in its own right. These include portraits of many famous people of his time, including Erik Satie, Marcel Duchamp, Gertrude Stein, Andre Breton and others, along with nudes and his photos using light effects outside of the camera, rayographs, Cliche-verres and solarizations.
