William Hallberg is the author of the golfing novel The Rub of the Green, and editor of an anthology of golf short stories entitled, Perfect Lies. His writing has appeared in Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, and the USGA centennial commemorative edition, Golf: The Greatest Game. An ardent golfer from earliest childhood, he has played the game with actors and rock stars, top-rated pros and old hackers, wild-eyed prodigies and gerontian Scottish ladies. He lives and golfs in Washington, North Carolina.
